Each year, once the hay has been harvested, we are able to offer Summer pop-up camping in August, in the Spring Meadow and the Big Meadow. These are grazed, flowering meadows part of nearby Lunsford Farm
Situated in the High Weald AONB, we have outstanding views and Pett Level beach is half a mile away
The nearest village pub, the recreation ground and children's playpark are just a five minute walk along a quiet country lane via the north entrance to the site. Village cricket every Saturday and most Sundays, opposite the Royal Oak pub
Our pop-up campsite is designed to give you a rustic, back-to-basics camping experience. We provide open fields, with a limited number of 50 pitches to give you plenty of space
When you book a pitch, you will be allocated a number for booking purposes but you are free to pitch up anywhere in the camping fields
We love the Leave No Trace ethos here at Pett Camping and will do everything we can to help facilitate your stay in these unspolit AONB meadows. More information about the Leave No Trace principles can be found here
Compost toilets are provided in all the camping fields with toilet paper provided
The cold water standpipe is situated towards the south of the site, at the main entrance from Pett Road
Rubbish and recycling bins provided
Check-in between 2-8pm
Check-out by 11am
No pets or no electronic music
The camping fields are flowering meadows, part of an envirionmental farming scheme, so the ground must be left undisturbed
You are welcome to bring your own raised fire pit and wood for your campfire experience
You are welcome to park where you pitch but to keep things quiet for your camping neighbours, no vehicle movements are permitted after 10pm
One car per booking is included and additional cars can be added to your booking for a small charge
Small campervans are permitted
