Our story
These fields have played host to countless camping visitors over the years, from the early years of the Boy's Brigade and Scout Movement, and later a Camping and Caravan site (now closed). We were glamping pioneers, having started the glamping site at the adjacent farm over 14 years ago which is still open today.
We grew up camping ourselves, and having worked in the hotel industry for over 10 years, Caroline's experience complements Andrew's lifetime of farming knowledge to bring you a special camping experience in East Sussex

The local farm shop at Lunsford Farm next door is a two minute walk and sells the basics such as milk, eggs, lamb burgers and apple juice
The Old Butcher's Shop in Guestling, just a 25 minute walk, or 5 minute drive, sells bread, fresh vegetables and local meat
The Pett Village Hall has a good programme of activities such as yoga, pilates and childrens holiday activities
Plenty of local walks to other villages, more pubs, a local vineyard with wine tastings or the nearby citadel of Rye
For beach lovers
Pett Level beach
You can walk to the beach via Chick Hill in 10-15 minutes, or it's an easy 5 minute drive, to enjoy the sand & pebble beach on your doorstep. Fossil forest visible at low tide
Eater's at Pett Level highly recommended for coffee, cake and light lunches and occasional late night bar
Further afield, Fairlight Cove, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve (including two bike hire companies), Camber Sands and Hastings are all approximately 15-30 minutes drive away
